Be a Power Buddy<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Our Buddy Program<\/strong><\/a> is at the heart of what we do. Volunteers\u2014whom we call Power Buddies<\/strong><\/a>\u2014are trained to assist our athletes during races using specially designed racing chairs. Through our Running Clinics<\/strong>, we teach volunteers how to safely push our riders while building trust and lasting friendships along the way.<\/p>\n

Whether you’re an experienced runner or someone just looking to get involved, we welcome all who are ready to make a difference. Every race you support is a chance to create unforgettable memories for athletes who may have never had the opportunity to compete before.<\/p>\n

Beyond race day, Special Compass is working on a bold initiative: creating an accessible apartment complex<\/strong><\/a> designed exclusively for people with disabilities. Our vision is to offer safe, modern housing that promotes independence, located near essential services like emergency care, grocery stores, and public transportation.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve already teamed up with a construction company and architect, and now we\u2019re working to secure the land to bring this vision to life. With your help, we can take the next step in making this dream a reality.<\/p>\n

We also offer scholarships and direct support<\/strong><\/a> to individuals in need. Whether it’s adaptive sports equipment, mobility aids, or medical devices, we ensure resources go directly to those who need them most.
