Thank you for your interest in applying for the annual Rex Blazer III Scholarship. This scholarship is intended for individuals who are experiencing disability and are looking to enhance their quality of life through resources that may not be readily available or unattainable. Rex Blazer III was one of the first athletes from Special Compass and will forever be remembered as a young man who embodied the spirit of our organization.
The Rex Blazer III Scholarship Board is only able to pick one recipient per year, but we are confident we will meet incredible applicants and their families during each yearly cycle. Special Compass will carefully weigh and respect each applicant that comes through for the selection process equally.
Previous winners of the Rex Blazer III Scholarship cannot re-apply for the two cycles following their acceptance. Finalists will be interviewed by the Special Compass Board of Directors and the winner will be announced at our annual Triathlon event.
