On Aug. 18, 12 disabled were paired with local triathletes as “Duo Teams to Race” in the annual Key Largo Triathlon at John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park. Special Compass hosted a social dinner the night before with the athletes, volunteers and family. Inspirational stories were shared including milestones of achievements in their employment, education and sport.
