The Special Compass Housing program represents one of our organization’s three key mission pillars, Inclusive Housing. This program fosters an integrated experience for people who are “Differently-Abled” to become active, contributing citizens who live independently, paying their own rent, in a dynamic environment where they can learn, grow, and thrive.

Making Our Dreams A Reality At Compass Place

The Special Compass team aims to build Compass Place, an affordable apartment housing complex exclusively for those with disabilities. We have a powerful Building Committee, diverse in talent, experience and resources, dedicated to serving our population to bring our plans to reality. Our goal is to find land suitable to build and within proximity of emergency care, grocery shopping, postal service, and easily accessible amenities.

We are currently looking for property management to help us help others and bring us one step closer to realizing our dream of providing our community with independent living opportunities.

What Is Compass Place?

Compass Place is a permanent supported housing apartment community for the differently-abled. At Compass Place, adults with physical disabilities will be enabled and encouraged to live in a comfortable, barrier-free environment that promotes their independence. Special Compass will facilitate independent living, self-sufficiency, and full community integration for persons with disabilities by providing and coordinating support services.
