Luis grew up in Caracas, Venezuela, and in 2000, he made his journey to the United States. He completed his bachelor's degree in Business Administration, setting the foundation for his pursuits. He founded Tekvoice, IP Telephony venture, which he later successfully sold to a public company in 2006.Following this, he joined AT&T, where he currently holds the esteemed position of Principal Technical Consulting Engineer.
Throughout his journey, Luis has maintained a deep-rooted connection to technology, amassing multiple certifications in areas such as networking, security, wireless technologies, and more. His involvement in technology has been a constant thread in his story.
In 2010, Luis became a member of 911 Fitness Training, a pivotal moment that connected him closely with the community. He embraced this involvement, becoming an integral part of the local fabric.
From the early stages of Special Compass, Luis has been a valuable asset, contributing his skills and energy. His participation in numerous races, including 5Ks, Spartan Races' challenging obstacle courses, Goruck events, and The Crossing for Cystic Fibrosis, showcases his commitment to meaningful endeavors.
Beyond his unwavering dedication to supporting others in any way possible, Luis possesses a keen passion for photography, capturing the essence of Special Compass events in his snapshots.
Additionally, Luis's remarkable contributions were acknowledged with The President's Bronze Volunteer Service Award, a testament to his outstanding commitment to making a difference.
