Meet Our Team Michael Weiner

Michael is an 18 year Veteren Detective with the Broward Sheriff's Office. Currently working in the Crime Suppression Team and Officer In Charge for their Tactical Deployment Team. He is also one of the few unmanned aerial vehicle pilots for his agency.

Michael is a graduate of Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, with a bachelor degree in Aeronautical Science & graduate from Broward College In Professional Pilot Technology. Serving in our United States Coast Guard Auxiliary as a pilot and has been flying for over 22 years.

Michael has been working closely with differently-abled athletes and has a passion to encourage, motivate, and inspire others do to the same. He enjoys staying active in the gym and competing in CrossFit based competitions.

On a daily basis at work, he strives to bridge the gap between our communities and resources needed to assist those in need. He works closely with charities/non-profit organizations to help house/cloth/feed individuals/families in crisis.

Michael puts his community at the forefront on a daily basis and devotes his off duty time to spending time with family and friends.It's a great honor to be part of the Special Compass Community.
