Sheri Hazeltine is a busy attorney in Delray Beach who specializes in Guardianships and Special Needs Trusts for the developmentally disabled. She is also the mom of Rex, a 20 year old with cerebral palsy.
Sheri is originally from Wisconsin and met her partner Rex Blazer Jr. in Alaska. She and her son Rex III are very active with the Royal DJs, a group of differently-abled DJs in South Florida who play music at dances and events.
Additionally, Sheri is an active member of the Justice Teaching program, where lawyers and judges go into classrooms and teach civics. In 2015 she was honored to receive their statewide award for volunteer of the year.
Sheri is excited to help with Special Compass as it is an opportunity to help differently-abled persons be included in running races. She says the smiles and joy on the faces of the Power Buddies as they cross the finish line is the best thing in the world to watch!
