Hello,
I would like to nominate Miss Jennifer Passino, who teaches ESE pre-K at Tamarac Elementary.
Miss Passino has gone above and beyond not only during this pandemic but also in general. We have been with her for the entire 2019-2020 school year. She is always on top of every detail. From always keeping us parents up to date with everything, to providing an outstanding performance with remote learning. She works tirelessly each day during this pandemic, to make sure her students have every chance to not only meet but also exceed expectations. One on one virtual classes, group classes so the kids see each other. Many wonderful activities that are uploaded and updated daily. Drive-bys to provide school supplies for arts and crafts. Detailed instructions on how to navigate canvas and when new materials are added and where. She’s also completed her last chemotherapy session a few weeks ago. She’s a survivor, a fighter, and one of the most loving and carrying teachers I’ve ever met. I know this is much more than a 500-word nomination, but she truly deserves the nomination for ESE teacher for outstanding performance. She’s been for us and with us, every single step of the way.
